Visitor Itineraries in Abruzzo

Due to its diverse landscape and beauty, Abruzzo can offer nature, art and history lovers an extremely wide range of excursions.
These include the three national parks: Abruzzo, Gran Sasso-Laga and Macella, the Sirente-Velino regional park, the nature reserves of Punta Aderci and Lago di Campotosto, and the WWF oases in Cascate del Verde and Gole del Salinello (remembering that visitors can choose from 30 nature reserves and oases), and the Stiffe or Cavallone caves.
For those seeking more religious itineraries, visits range from the Santuario del Volto Santo in the historic town of Manoppello, the Santuario del Miracolo Eucaristico in the Church of San Francesco in downtown Lanciano, or the various monasteries scattered throughout the region, including San Bartolomeo, S. Spirito a Roccamorice (Pe), S.Onofrio di Serramonacesca (Pe) and S. Venanzio a Raiano (Aq).
